When I was a little girl my daddy’s hands were gentle and full of comfort; showing me that the scary things in life would be ok.
When I was a young girl my daddy’s hands were sure. Teaching me how to do things I should know how to do some day.
When I was a big girl my daddy’s hands were strong. Helping me to do the things I could not do by myself yet.
When I was a young woman my daddy’s hands were weathered. Making each task a challenge, but still able to guide me to perfection.
Now that I am an older woman my daddy’s hands are frail and bent. Needing help from time to time but knowing that they gave me the world.
My Daddy's Hands
My
Daddy’s Hands
Dedicated to my Dad who wasn’t always perfect,
but who gave 100% in all he did.
